The Story of LeaVea Candles

Hi! My name is Gem, and I am the owner of LeaVea Candles. I am the mom of two beautiful children Leanne Ashley & Veanne Nicole. That's how the name "LeaVea" formed.

Making candles all started as a new hobby I learned while we were all stuck at home due to the pandemic. I started when my lavender plant started growing at an increasing rate! I researched and studied what I could do with all my aromatic lavenders. I created candles and even went to candle making workshops! My love for candle making grew into what it is now. I hope you enjoy my candles as much as I enjoy making them. 

We not only sell online, but in person as well. As a family, every Saturday we try to sell at the Old Beach Art & Eco Market. There are also markets that we try to apply to as well. We're trying to make our name known locally, and eventually branch out more with other states. It is so important to shop local and small businesses. We enjoy every place we go to for the experience, meeting new customers, meeting new friends, and supporting our community.

We are so grateful to have a shop located in Painted Tree Boutiques (F23). It has helped our brand grow as we get to showcase all our amazing candles for all to see and buy! We're also in Jovi Salon VB who kindly let us stay in their salon! We appreciate all our loyal customers who always come back. We have so much more planned for LeaVea's future...
